UCOM to invest USD5.3m over three years

Armenian broadband provider UCOM LLC, founded in 2007 to deliver a range of traditional and innovative high quality services in the local telecommunications market, plans to invest AMD1.92 billion (USD5.30 million) over the next three years to expand its customer base, PanArmenian.net reports. The firm, which launched commercially in November 2009, hopes the investment will boost the number of connections served to 2,700, up from the 700 it has currently.
