Invitel deputy CEO says lack of PC penetration hindering broadband market

6 Oct 2010

According to local press quoting the deputy CEO of Invitel, Gyorgy Zsembery, Hungary’s sluggish 1% to 2% growth in household computer usage is hindering the expansion of the country’s internet access market. Almost half of households do not own a computer, making the country’s broadband market a much tougher environment than compared with the mobile sector. Zsembery believes that only three or four retail providers of combined mobile, landline, internet and television services will remain by the end of 2012.
