Singapore’s second largest operator by subscribers StarHub has published details on a range of new broadband internet plans available over the city state’s next generation fibre broadband network (Next Gen NBN). The plans, which will come on stream shortly, comprise four residential high speed internet plans with connection speeds ranging from 100Mbps to 1Gbps under the telco’s ‘MaxInfinity’ brand. In addition, all StarHub MaxInfinity plans will be bundled with a 2Mbps ‘MaxMobile’ (mobile broadband) service and a free micro SIM card. MaxInfinity plans start at SGD68.27 (USD50.84) per month for a 100Mbps/50Mbps (download/upload) connection, and with a maximum 15Mbps for international connectivity. A 150Mbps/75Mbps plan costs SGD82.18 per month, again with 15Mbps for international connectivity, while the 200Mbps/100Mbps plan costs SGD102.93 per month and includes 25Mbps international connectivity speed. The premium plan costs SGD395.90 per month and offers 1Gbps download, 500Mbps upload and 100Mbps international connectivity. At launch, customers can enjoy a three-month free trial of StarHub’s new MaxInfinity Ultimate plan, it added.
