Vodafone mulling China Mobile sale

British broadsheet The Sunday Times has reported that Vodafone Group is preparing to sell its stake in China Mobile. According to the report, Vodafone Chief Executive Officer Vittorio Colao has approved a plan to sell its 3.2% stake in China Mobile for more than GBP4 billion (USD6.2 billion). Citing unidentified investors, the newspaper added that Vodafone may look for a strategic partner or sell shares on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
