Orange Business Services has agreed to acquire French IT firm Alsy, in a move aimed at strengthening its position as a provider of integrated network and IT enterprise services. Microsoft solutions integrator Alsy posted revenues of more than EUR14 million in 2009 and has a staff of 140 employees, according to the Unified Communications website. Orange said that the acquisition will help build on its agreement signed with Microsoft in 2009 to distribute the US software giant’s standard online services offer in 21 countries.
