Com Hem’s EBITDA up 8% on 5% sales increase

Swedish cableco Com Hem’s revenues grew by 5% year-on-year to SEK1.08 billion (USD114 million) in the second quarter, helping to drive its EBITDA up 8% to SEK452 million, as CAPEX was reduced from SEK209 million in 2Q09 to SEK97 million in the three months ended June 2010. Quarter-on-quarter, Com Hem increased its number of cable modem broadband subscribers by 3,000 to 533,300 and its cable telephony users by 9,100 to 364,800; triple-play cable TV, internet and phone subscriptions grew by 12,400 in the three-month period to 256,900.
