KPN’s Telfort brand offers triple-play

BroadbandTVNews reports that Telfort of the Netherlands, the budget operator owned by KPN (Royal KPN), has inaugurated its first triple-play offer in the country, offering a 20Mbps ADSL broadband internet connection, telephony and DTT television from Digitenne at an introductory price of EUR28.40 (USD36.40) for the first six months, rising to EUR43.40 thereafter. People signing up to the new deal will each receive a free DTT tuner and Wi-Fi xDSL modem, along with a EUR25.000 voucher covering the first bill. However, a one-off registration fee of EUR39.95 is payable. Digitenne, the DTT service offered by mutual parent KPN, offers 23 channels in its basic tier. Eredivisie Liove, the Dutch football channel, is available as the only option. Telfort is also offering a dual-play option priced at EUR18.45 per month (regular fee EUR33.45) for internet access and pay-TV.
