TDC posts healthy first half

Denmark’s TDC has posted first half revenues of DKK18.2 billion (USD3.1 billion), a 2.2% increase year-on-year. EBITDA was up 6.4% to DKK6.7 billion. The figures were boosted by strong performance in Sweden, Norway and Finland, where in local currency revenue grew 4% and EBITDA climbed 6.8%. At the end of June 2010 TDC claimed 11.6 million customers, up 2.1% year-on-year on the back of growth from TV and mobile services. The telco confirmed its 2010 guidance with revenue growth of between 1% and 3% and EBITDA growth of between 3% and 4%.
