Polish telecoms provider Netia has reported second quarter revenues of PLN393.7 million (USD129.99 million), a 2% increase on the first three months of the year. EBITDA for the quarter was PLN95.3 million, also up 2% sequentially, generating an EBITDA margin of 24.2%. The company reported a net profit of PLN15.6 million for 2Q10, compared to PLN14.3 million in 1Q. Netia’s broadband subscriber base reached 623,579 at the end of June, a 36% increase year-on-year, with the company forecasting 700,000 by the end of 2010. Voice subscribers reached 1.18 million, up 5% compared to the same date in 2009, while the number of customers connected via unbundled local loops rose to over 73,000 via a presence in 350 exchanges.
