Jazz Telecom, one of Spain’s largest alternative operators, has selected and implemented VoIP applications provider BroadSoft’s BroadWorks VoIP application platform to support its Hosted-PBX offering, Packs de Empresa. The Packs de Empresa services was introduced in September 2009, offering a bundled service aimed at small businesses; it includes up to eight voice lines coupled with ADSL2+ internet access and a set of call features, including call forwarding, three-way calling, group hunting and short dialling. Around 5,000 customers have signed up to the service. Jazztel is also expected to roll out a BroadWorks SIP Trunking capability for its subscribers over the next year, which would allow businesses to keep their existing on-site telephony equipment, while gaining the additional VoIP services.
