Digi opts for VocalTec VoIP solutions

VocalTec Communications, a global provider of voice-over-IP (VoIP) and convergence solutions for fixed and wireless operators, has announced that Cambodian telecoms provider Digi has selected its VoIP solution as part of its plan to launch Cambodia’s first triple-play service. The vendor will provide its core VoIP solutions and a wide range of supporting applications and pre-paid billing solutions to enable Digi to provide IP telephony services to both corporate and residential users in Cambodia. ‘Converged voice, data and video services are the future of telecoms and we are delighted to be the first triple-play provider in Cambodia,’ said Andrey Shin, CEO of Digi, adding, ‘We are confident that our partnership with VocalTec will be fruitful, and trust in its experience and advanced VoIP technologies.
