26 May 2010

Greek alternative telco ForthNet has posted revenues in the first quarter 2010 of EUR99.4 million (USD121.9 million), up by 10.1% from EUR92.2 million in the same period of 2009, with adjusted EBITDA of EUR16.6 million and EBITDA margin of 16.7%. The company’s number of fixed broadband subscribers reached 408,500 at end-March 2010, up by more than 44,000 quarter-on-quarter, driven by take-up of combined voice and internet packages based on unbundled local loop connections, and keeping its position as the country’s largest alternative broadband provider.
