Following the recent issuing of its fixed line operating licence, Vodafone Qatar has signed a partnership with United Development Company (UDC) to deliver full-service fixed/mobile telephony and internet/data communications facilities to the newly built Pearl-Qatar development, reports Qatari newspaper The Peninsula. The jointly provided services on the man-made island will utilise UDC’s already-deployed next-generation fibre-based network infrastructure, whilst Vodafone aims to ensure high-quality indoor mobile voice and broadband coverage to all buildings in Pearl-Qatar.
