Unicom reports 1Q KPIs

China Unicom has announced its key performance indicators (KPIs) for the end of March 2010 which show that 2G users rose by 873,000 compared to the previous month, while its 3G users increased by 759,000. The company’s 2G and 3G base reached 147.263 million and 4.824 million respectively. It wireline business continued to shed customers, to finish the quarter with 101.838 million lines in service, while broadband subscribers increased by 1.198 million to 41.504 million.
