Net neutrality comments extension granted

9 Apr 2010

On the back of the Federal Communications Commisssion’s (FCC’s) unwelcome Court ruling, reported in CommsUpdate yesterday, the FCC has decided to extend the deadline from today until 26 April for final comments on its draft net neutrality proposal. Consumer groups CTIA and the Open Internet Coalition called for an extension following the court decision. The FCC issued a statement stating: ‘We find that good cause exists to provide all parties an extension of the reply comment deadline.’
