Court ruling: FCC does not have the right to regulate an ISP's network management methods

A Columbia Court of Appeals has overturned an August 2008 Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ruling against cable operator Comcast for blocking subscribers using peer-to-peer software. The ruling is a setback for the FCC’s net neutrality ideal and its new national broadband plan. Final comments on the FCC’s net neutrality draft proposals were due later today.
