Rapid TV News writes that German cable operator PrimaCom has opened its shareholder circle for new investors in a bid to accelerate the upgrade of its cable networks and the development of new products. Talks with banks and creditors are underway to obtain further financial funds and loans which are expected to be completed by mid-2010. PrimaCom hopes the cash injection will enable it to pay back older loans and finance large-scale investments, including the modernisation of its cable network and rollout of HDTV services to all of its households by mid-year.
