26 Feb 2010

Dow Jones quotes the French junior minister for industry, Christian Estrosi, as saying yesterday that telcos will have to pay a minimum EUR120 million (USD162 million) for each of the two lots of spectrum bandwidth for 3G mobile services it is planning to auction off. The deadline for bids is 11 May 2010 and the bidding for the two remaining lots on offer is open to all operators, including the four which already have licences, Estrosi said.
