Philippines-based cellco Smart Communications has placed an order with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to provide its unified charging and billing solution ‘charge@once’, to enable a faster time-to-market for its services. Orlando Vea, chief wireless adviser at Smart Communications, said: ‘The increased complexity in our charging and billing platform… was posing challenges to the rapid development and rollout of new services for our large and growing subscriber base.
