2 Feb 2010

French telco Bouygues Telecom says the number of people signed up to its IPTV service BBox has topped the 300,000 mark. A relative latecomer to the French TV-over-DSL segment, Bouygues launched BBox in October 2008 and today offers the multifunctional service as part of a quadruple-play bundle with mobile telephony, VoIP, broadband internet access and IPTV. The premium quad-play offer costs from EUR39.90 (USD55.43) per month (including three hours of unlimited mobile calls), reports Broadband TV News, while the basic triple-play package costs from EUR29.90 a month.
