27 Jan 2010

Greek cellco Wind Hellas, which recently completed a capital restructuring to reduce debt, expects to return to profitability in 2011, after a gradual recovery in financial performance this year. According to the company’s director of corporate communication, George Tsaprounis, as reported by Express.gr, the overall Greek mobile market saw an estimated fall in revenues of 10%-12% last year, but conditions should improve in 2010, whilst Wind Hellas is attempting to bounce back from recent subscriber losses by launching new packages, including the nationwide launch of a pre-paid, EUR5 (USD7) SIM package.
