26 Jan 2010

Japan’s eAccess and mobile start-up eMobile are reportedly working towards a functional merger. IRG reports the pair entered into a memorandum of understanding in December 2009 concerning a share exchange between the two companies, through which eMobile will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of eAccess. It is understood the eAccess board has set up an independent committee to oversee the process, which is designed to ensure the fairness and transparency of the process. Financial and legal advisors have also been appointed it said.
