Gateway Communications and Longphone join as strategic partners for pan-African voice operations

Gateway Communications and Longphone have agreed to partner in the call termination market to the African continent. Longphone – a European carrier and VOIP call termination provider since 1997 – selected Gateway as a strategic partner for its premium-quality call-termination service to Africa. Gateway Communications owns and manages a private all-IP, next generation network and will help Longphone to extend its African footprint with direct access to more countries and operators across the continent. The agreement allows Longphone to benefit from Gateway’s voice connectivity offer as a serious boost to its extensive continental network of direct routes. Gateway’s routes will be added to Longphone’s African rate offer, and will helping to improve both connectivity and profitability.
