TIM Brasil, Vex ink agreement to offer Wi-Fi services

Brazlian mobile operator TIM Brasil has signed an agreement with domestic Wi-Fi operator Vex to offer the latter’s services to TIM’s post-paid subscribers, BNamericas reports citing local press. As a result of the tie-up, TIM Brasil’s clients will be able to take advantage of improved broadband connectivity as well as minimising the risk of overloading its 3G network. TIM’s subscribers will be able to sign up to either a daily, weekly, monthly or unlimited Wi-Fi plan. The Vex network currently covers 38,000 points in 52 countries, including all Brazilian states.
