Du poised to launch VoD service

UAE-based telecoms operator Du has announced it is set to launch its new video-on-demand (VoD) service on 20 December. The new offering will enable TV subscribers to access a wide range of films and is available to both new and existing customers of the operator’s du TV and du TV+ services. ‘For the very first time in the UAE, VoD is being made available to TV subscribers, and it is the ultimate way for movie lovers to benefit from the very best in the world’s entertainment, from the comfort and convenience of their living room,’ commented Farid Faraidooni, EVP of Du’s Commercial division, adding: ‘Because today’s TV subscribers demand the latest in technology and services that truly fit their needs, we are excited to demonstrate once again that we are committed to providing our customers with the very best in cutting-edge, user-friendly and most of all innovative solutions.’
