Telekom completes EUR300m bond sale

Telekom Slovenije has concluded the sale of bonds worth EUR300 million (USD438 million), and has earmarked the funds to refinance existing loans and to settle liabilities triggered by the purchase of companies in Kosovo and Macedonia, reports Finance.si. The Slovenian telco sold the majority of the bonds, with a maturity date on 21 December 2016 and an interest rate of 4.8%, to assets managers, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies and hedge funds, primarily from the UK, Germany, Slovenia, Switzerland, Austria and France.
