OneFi to begin WiMAX/BPL installation for Navajo Nation in new year

OneFi Technology has announced that the initial installation of a WiMAX/BPL-based network in the Hogback Region of the Navajo Nation will begin in January. The network will be valued at USD20 million when it is completed. Tom White, CFO of OneFi, said, ‘We are delivering the network to meet the broadband internet needs of the Navajo community and the installation will be a model for the other Native American communities.’
