1 Dec 2009

Cable & Wireless (C&W) has said it will strengthen its partnership agreements and services capabilities in China, in order to maintain strong business growth in the country. Mike Powell, vice president of service delivery at Cable & Wireless Worldwide, told China Daily that the company’s business performance on the Chinese mainland drove its top-line business in Asia Pacific to grow more than 40% last year. Cable & Wireless Worldwide, which offers communications services to large enterprises across Asia, Europe and the United States, currently has partnership agreements with China Unicom and China Telecom. The former allows it to access to three points-of-presence networks in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, while the agreement with China Telecom enables it to connect customers throughout the mainland.
