The experimental network covers the Neihu Technology Park, which houses research institutes, software companies and offices and is intended to allow the capital’s equipment manufacturers to develop and test TD-SCDMA and dual-mode TD-SCDMA/W-CDMA devices. Vibo chairman, Rock Hsu, revealed that the core network for the trial was provided by China’s ZTE, while the wireless networks were supplied by both ZTE and Datang Telecom Technology.
