Polish telecoms firm Netia has raised its full-year EBITDA forecast by just over 5%, but trimmed both its revenue forecast and capital spending plan. Netia said it now expects 2009 EBITDA of PLN290 million (USD100 million) up from a previous forecast for PLN275 million. It said the increase was due to higher-than-expected savings. The company lowered its revenue forecast by PLN5 million and trimmed its planned CAPEX to PLN250 million from PLN260 million, as sales among institutional clients suffered in January-September. Netia posted a third-quarter net profit of PLN3.2 million, up from a loss of PLN18.4 million net loss. Revenues increased 37% to PLN370 million.
