Claro extends mobile broadband services to PAYG users

Telecom Americas (Claro), the Brazilian mobile operator controlled by Mexican behemoth America Movil, has launched mobile broadband services for its pre-paid user base. BNamericas quotes Claro president Joao Cox Neto as saying that subscribers can now buy daily or weekly mobile broadband service plans. The former cost BRL20 (USD11.69) he said, while a weekly plan costs BRL59.
