US-based cellco MetroPCS has announced that it has chosen Ericsson and Samsung to supply infrastructure and handsets for its planned deployment of Long Term Evolution (LTE) network technology. Linquist, CEO of MetroPCS, adding: ‘As the internet goes mobile we are excited to be at the forefront of this wireless evolution with the building out of our 4G broadband data services.
