Alternative telecoms operator Invitel Holdings is seeking to enter the Hungarian mobile telecoms space via a cooperation deal with incumbent wireless operators, Hungarian business daily Vilaggazdasag reports, citing Invitel CEO Martin Lea.
Invitel is Hungary’s largest altnet and a 64.6%-owned subsidiary of Danish incumbent TDC. It is understood the company could begin offering packages in partnership with Pannon or Vodafone Hungary before the end of this year, Lea said.
