GT-Tell seeks strategic investor

Cambodian CDMA mobile operator GT-Tell is seeking a strategic investor to help expand its network nationwide, according to a press release from the company. GT-Tell began trialling its network in Phnom Penh in July 2008, before launching commercial services in the following September under the brand name Excell. It offers both voice and data services, including CDMA2000 1xEV-DO services in the capital and the surrounding province. The company claimed it had a customer base of 40,000 in July 2009.
