Choice upgrades broadband, telephony, TV range

Puerto Rican cable TV and high speed internet operator Choice Cable has launched a new range of broadband cable modem speeds and TV channels, as well as a new digital home phone service. The new triple-play line-up comprises 18 new channels, including high-definition (HD) channels, whilst maximum download speeds have been more than doubled from 7Mbps to 15Mbps, and digital telephone users can now pick from a range of 13 value added services. The company has invested around USD20 million in recent upgrades to support the new services. Choice Cable provides cable TV and cable modem internet access in 31 municipalities in the south and west of Puerto Rico.
