Polish copper miner KGHM would consider selling its stake in Polish wireless network operator Polkomtel if fellow shareholders PKN Orlen and PGE decide to unload their stakes, writes Reuters citing KGHM’s new boss. ‘KGHM should examine the possibility of exiting Polkomtel stake if PKN and PGE decide so too,’ chief executive Herbert Wirth told TVN CNBC Biznes news channel. Vodafone, which owns a 24% stake in Polkomel, has indicated it may be interested in increasing its holding.
