Jazztel says Annex M deployment complete

20 Jul 2009

Spanish fixed line and broadband operator Jazz Telecom (Jazztel) has completed the deployment of its ADSL2+ Annex M services. The telco began trials of the service in February 2009 with a small group of customers, and subsequently expanded the service to more subscribers and regions in both May and June this year. The announcement that it has completed the nationwide rollout falls in line with Jazztel’s self-imposed deadline of mid-July 2009, and the service is now available in Pontevedra, Cordova, Granada, Huelva, Murcia, Biscay, Jaen, Malaga, Valencia and Seville. The service, only available to those customers taking Jazztel’s 20Mbps broadband service, allows subscribers to increase their upload speeds to up to 2.5Mbps.
