Vodafone Qatar, which launched the country’s second mobile network earlier this month, will list 40% of its shares on the Doha stock exchange on 22 July. The cellco sold the shares to private and institutional Qatari investors in an initial public offering (IPO) in April, raising USD930 million. The remaining stakes, owned by UK-based Vodafone Group (22.95%), Qatar Foundation (22.05%) and other Qatari institutions (15%), will be blocked from trading for two years.
