ZTE to deploy 3G network for Timor Telecom

According to MacauHub, Timor Telecom has inked a deal with China’s ZTE for the provision of a W-CDMA network. The news service cites a statement from the Chinese embassy saying that the contract was signed last May and that network deployment should be completed by August. The deal also includes the nationwide expansion of the cellco’s GSM network. No financial details have been disclosed.
