Qtel boosts DSL speeds for second time in two months

Qtel has doubled its maximum ADSL broadband connection speeds for the second time this year, whilst lowering the cost of its 1Mbps and 2Mbps (download) packages by QAR100 (USD27.5) each to QAR200 and QAR300 per month respectively. Its faster packages are priced at QAR400 for 4Mbps and QAR600 for 8Mbps. In May Qtel doubled ADSL speeds for free for existing customers when it introduced a 4Mbps package.
