Cybercity, Sonofon rebranded Telenor

Danish mobile operator Sonofon and broadband company Cybercity will be known as Telenor Denmark from today (15 June) in line with their parent company Nordic telecoms group Telenor. The rebranding exercise is aimed at simplifying the services provided in Denmark by the Telenor group and will not affect its Danish subsidiaries’ existing customers. According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database, Sonofon had a mobile subscriber base of 1.83 million at 31 March 2009, while sister company Cybercity had a total of 289,000 broadband customers at the same date.
