DAVE to roam USA

Canadian start-up cellco Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless (DAVE Wireless) has signed a bilateral roaming agreement with T-Mobile USA, it announced on Thursday, Reuters reports. DAVE spent USD220 million buying wireless frequencies in Canada’s ‘advanced wireless services’ spectrum auction last year, covering more than 16 million Canadians in ten of the country’s 13 biggest markets, including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Ottawa. It plans to launch commercial services in the first half of next year.
