Eircom Holdings in talks over 57% Eircom sale

According to the Financial Times, Eircom Holdings, formerly Babcom & Brown Capital (BCM), has started discussion with three possible bidders as it seeks to sell its 57% in Eircom. The newspaper states that Singapore Technologies Telemedia (STT) and two private equity companies are understood to be interested. Eircom’s owners are said to be seeking an acceptable bid by 30 June.
