Com Hem reports triple-play growth

Swedish triple-play cable operator Com Hem has reported that it signed up a total of 511,700 broadband subscribers by the end of March 2009, up from 490,000 a year earlier, whilst it also had 326,200 cable telephony customers, up by over 40,000 in a year, with 210,200 customers now taking a triple-play package of cable TV, internet and voice line. Revenues for Sweden’s third largest broadband access provider rose by 6% year-on-year in the first quarter to SEK1.003 billion (USD126 million), on which it earned EBITDA of SEK412 million. CAPEX in the three-month period amounted to SEK154 million, including upgrading its network in Stockholm to all-digital.
