Kabel BW accelerates to 100Mbps with DOCSIS 3.0

German cableco Kabel BW is preparing to implement the DOSCIS 3.0 standard to raise maximum internet download speeds to 100Mbps across its entire cable network, reports Broadband TV News. Kabel BW will begin rolling out the new broadband speeds in three regions this summer, and will expand 100Mbps capability to its entire network footprint sometime in 2010.
