T-Systems and Alcatel-Lucent (Alca-Lu) have announced that they have concluded a global framework agreement under which Alcatel-Lucent is providing T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom (DT) with convergent communications solutions from its enterprise portfolio. This will make it even easier for T-Systems and the business customer branch of DT to supply large enterprise customers and business customers with IP solutions for voice and data networking. As a result, all business units of DT, including its affiliates worldwide, will now have direct access to Alca-Lu’s enterprise solutions. The international affiliates can also benefit from the equipment vendor’s Managed Services offer. ‘We are looking forward to supplying our customers even easier and quicker than in the past with convergent enterprise solutions. We can do that because we have got a much quicker access to Alcatel-Lucent’s portfolio. Global access and an easy ordering process are supporting our services commitment,’ said Klaus Werner, CFO at T-Systems. ‘Moreover, we can now offer our international enterprise customers Managed Services as a cost model. For many customers, this is an attractive alternative to buying the technology.’
