Reuters reports that Polish telco MNI is still interested in buying a stake in rival Netia, after being outbid by financial investors earlier this month. ‘We are ready to buy a stake but only when the financial investors support our entry into the company’s management,’ MNI CEO Piotr Majchrzak told daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita. Netia said last week its largest shareholder, Icelandic fund Novator, had sold its 30.3% stake to financial investors.
