SkyLink crossed off Rostelecom's shopping list?

Russian newspaper Kommersant has reported that long distance fixed line telecom provider Rostelecom has withdrawn an application with the federal anti-monopoly service to buy cellular operator SkyLink controlled by billionaire Vladimir Yevtushenkov’s Sistema holding.

Back on 13 February CommsUpdate reported Rostelcom’s CEO Konstantin Solodukhin stating the company was at that point examining possible acquisition targets, with around 30 broadband internet providers on its list.
