Chunghwa Telecom is expected to buy more than a million CPE units for its Very High Bitrate Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL) service in 2009. A report from DigiTimes, which cites Chinese-language Economic Daily News, says Taiwanese firms D-Link, Zyxel Communications and HwaCom Systems are among those vying for the equipment orders which could be worth up to TWD3 billion (USD86.5 million).
