T-Mobile launches USD50 service trial

20 Feb 2009

T-Mobile USA has adopted the trend of cellcos launching cut-price calling plans. The operator announced it will begin offering a trial USD50 per month unlimited voice service to customers who had been with the carrier for 22 months or more. It will also offer a USD135 rebate for customers who switch their service to T-Mobile. The new service will initially be available to customers in the San Francisco area.

Boost Mobile, Sprint Nextel’s pre-paid unit, introduced its USD50 per month unlimited voice and data plan last month, and says it has seen a swath of customers switching to the service in place of T-Mobile options.
